Hole 5 – “Maiden”

A long, uphill, dogleg-left par-4. The smart drive is to the right side of the fairway. Any drive into the left rough will leave a nasty, blind second shot. The enormous green, one of the largest in Minnesota, is called the Maiden. Like most of the greens at Midland Hills, it can be effectively approached through the air or on the ground. Either way, you might end up with a very long putt.
