Hole 6 – “Lauderdale”

The first of three par-5s at Midland Hills — and a three-shotter for all but the very longest players. Favor the left side off the tee. Even a play from the left rough will fare better than a shot from the trees on the right. The second is generally a lay-up short of the pond, leaving an iron to a green that mostly slopes from front right to back left. But beware the false front!
