Hole 7 – “Eden”

Eden — a mid-length par-3 modeled after No. 11 at the Old Course. Midland’s members know that a tee shot to the middle of this back-to-front-sloping green is always a good play, wherever the hole is cut that day. The front bunkers — Hill on the left and Strath on the right — are deep and difficult . . . but not quite so difficult as the unseen bunker behind and well below the green, which has wrecked many a scorecard.
